How to update your ARU profile

Keeping your ARU profile up to date ensures smooth communications, accurate bookings, and timely payouts (for drivers). Here's how to manage every aspect of your account.

Updating your name or contact details

Open the ARU app and tap the profile icon

Located in the bottom navigation bar or top-right corner of the home screen.

Tap 'Edit Profile'

You'll see fields for your full name, phone number, email address, and home address.

Make your changes and tap 'Save'

If changing your phone number, you'll receive a new verification code to confirm.

Changing your profile photo

Tap the camera icon on your current profile photo in the Edit Profile screen. Choose a photo from your gallery or take a new one. Photos must show a clear image of your face and should not contain sunglasses or filters — this is especially important for Driver accounts for passenger safety.

Updating your password

Go to Account → Security → Change password. Enter your current password, then your new one twice to confirm. If you've forgotten your password, tap "Forgot password" on the login screen to receive a reset link by email.

Security tip: ARU will never ask for your password by phone, email, or chat. If someone requests it, report it to support@arumove.com immediately.

KYC verification (Drivers and Businesses)

Driver and Business accounts require identity verification before they can accept jobs or manage fleets. You'll need to submit:

  • Drivers: Government-issued ID, driver's licence, vehicle registration, and insurance documents.
  • Businesses: Company registration certificate, tax ID, and authorised representative's ID.

Upload documents under Account → Verification → Upload documents. Our team reviews submissions within 1–2 business days. You'll receive a notification when approved or if additional documents are needed.

Closing your account

If you'd like to permanently delete your ARU account, go to Account → Settings → Close account. Note that deletion is irreversible and will remove all trip history, saved addresses, and payment methods. Any pending earnings for drivers will be processed before deletion is completed.
